And again I made a remix of the OST from SMT2! When this theme played, despite the fact that it really created the necessary oppressive atmosphere of an important battle, I felt it lacked variety. This theme is very monotonous, so this is a chance for me to make it more interesting.

The first thing I wanted to add is an emphasis on theme of Law from the first part. This is how the idea for the intro came about, which is repeated in a different tone towards the end. This decision seemed very successful to me as it creates the necessary solemn and powerful mood, which is perfect for a boss like YHVH.

You may also notice that I added a synth, which actually plays the motif of the Neutral theme from SMT2, which is supported by the Neutral theme from the first part (yes, this is what the lead guitar plays during the synth). In addition, there is a Fiend theme, which is actually a Memory Recover motif, which was a discovery for me, since my first SMT was SMT3 and only Fiend had this motif there.

I couldn’t ignore the themes of Law and Chaos from the second part, which sound more noticeable in the second part of the track. What's more interesting here is that at the end I decided to add a riff from the usual battle theme and crossed it with the guitar from the Boss theme. In my opinion, it turned out quite well!

That's basically it about the track~ Now I wanted to share a little about what comes next. There is a possibility that there will be no activity on the channel until next November (by that I mean November of 2024), so I am trying my best to finish the tracks that I have ready and post them as soon as possible. This saddens me to the core. But alas, there is nothing to be done about this. I hope that I can then catch up with everyone after a year of absence! I really want to play Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and listen to the music from those games...
