In this video we visit Château d’Écouen - a XVI century castle that is home to the National Museum of the Renaissance and used to be a home of one of the richest families in France - the Montmorency family. We discover the history of this amazing place and learn how it passed through generations of French nobility, became a hospital and a boarding school for the daughters of Knights of the Legion of Honour under Napoléon I and Napoléon III.
