IN THE BEGINNING! | Van Tour Narrated Montague

So here we have the journey to our beloved JAUNTI.
In the beginning, I was a Specimen Angler... meaning a Carp fisherman, and only a Carp fisherman, we would camp at dams and use the proper Catch and Release ethics to the full, from Baits, Rigs, Protective Equipment and Weighing Scales, Obviously, Cameras too, to vouch for our catchings, As we would record our Personal Best Weight Standards. I got to boast with 16.9 Kgs in my day. Well equipped and ready lol!
I had an old beat-up 1982 Kombi which I refurbished from the ground up
especially for this venture in my life of Specimen Angling.

It was well rigged out for work and camping needs,
But alas... there was still the hankering for a Camper van in me..
Thinking it would be more comfortable and easier to use, but never got around to it.
I was involved in a serious head-on accident in 2010 and have steel pins in my legs, at physiotherapy, my specialist told me I would never walk again, I had to prove them wrong..... so I sold the kombi and met the love of my life, Cindy... I described my idea of a camper van in great detail with her and we came to the decision we sell the little pickup I had and buy a big Pannelvan to convert, but again this didn't develop, as we couldn't find one anywhere at a reasonable price.

We ended up buying my son's Camping Trailer, which I wasn't too happy about, as it meant another pair of wheels on the road.
We had endless fun towing a trailer to venues and campsites all over.
I sorted the electric and water systems out and fenced in the canopy for a comfortable seating area. it worked out well, but not that Camper van I envisioned...

We then found an old 2004 Peugeot Boxer and as we started our build and restoration on the Boxer, The Covid-19 lockdown happened...I decided to keep ourselves busy, we would carry on with restoring the van into a campervan, hopefully getting a chance to use it..
Being Pensioners, this is where we had this vision and direction materialize,

"The beginning of the youth of our old age" We were apprehensive and excited.
One day we went on a short run in the Boxer for coffee and as we are older, we were using old terminology while driving there lol! Cindy said something about this van likes to go for Jaunts... A coin dropped in my head and named our vanlife van Jaunti. Works for us lol!

To put it in a nutshell, this video displays pics of our trek through a few decades and dreams of my life and the intro to our new Camper Van
JAUNTI.

I trust everyone enjoys and appreciates this video, and hope you like it by giving it a thumbs up and subscribing if you haven't already.
