Ever since visiting the museum of science and technology here in the Ottawa valley countless times over the last two decades I've been on the lookout for an HO scale model of a 4-8-4 Canadian National "Northern" type steam locomotive.

These locomotives are not easy to come by so I've been waiting for one to be listed and just a couple months ago a seller on eBay added one. I ended up winning the auction and got the locomotive. I've now been able to fulfill a dream I've had since 2008.

It took some adjustments to get the locomotive working correctly but otherwise its practically flawless and I hope will make for an excellent addition to the collection for many years to come.
