Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai late last night. The 91 year old was taken to the hospital around 1 am and wife Saira Banu is said to be with him. In 2015, the actor was honoured with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award, by Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Not only the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Vibhushan award in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 but Pakistan government also gave him the highest civilian honour - Nishan-e-Imtiaz in 1997.
