Ukrainian Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas early to sever ties with Russia

Ukrainian Orthodox Christians have made a change to their calendar that moves Christmas to Dec. 25 when previously it would be celebrated in January. It's meant to sever ties with Russia, and other religious holidays such as Easter will now also be celebrated earlier.
