The first in a new and ongoing series of videos. Each time i complete a guitar top ready to be glued onto the sides i will record the 'tap tones' in this manner... its certainly useful for me to have an archive of this data... may be for others too.

The idea in this process is remove material from the braces on the inside of a guitar top until a good balance between stiffness, weight and resonance is achieved - see my video -    • Luthier Shorts #07 -  Carving A Top (...   - for the full process.
