Serve myths debunked: Former Top 100 ATP Pro, Jeff Salzenstein, is exposing 3 common myths that could be crippling your serve potential. Most players make at least 1 of these 3 mistakes... Do you? https://goo.gl/6igbeV

The serve and volley strategy is a controversial one.

Some tennis players might say the serve and volley is dying.

I say it is evolving.

Gone are the days of running up to the net and not knowing what to do with your feet.

When you serve and volley, you need to know exactly what to do with your feet.

Many tennis players do not understand how to move out of the way as the ball comes into them.

I'm sure you've heard your tennis pro telling you to get out of the way.

I am going to show you how to move out of the way on the serve and volley.

The karioka footwork pattern is the special secret on moving out of the way on the serve and volley.

What you are going to do is simple.

As you hit the ball, your back foot will come behind the front foot.

This allows you to continue to move sideways as you hit the ball and therefore move out of the way and around the ball during the serve and volley.

Next time you are trying to serve and volley, try using the karioka footwork pattern to move out of the way.
