The September bite on Lake Sam Rayburn

Largemouth Bass fishing on Sam Rayburn during the month of September is AWESOME!

So, I filmed this just before we moved last year, and I didn't want to post it later in the year but when it's actually beneficial for you guys.

If you've never chunked a top water during the month of September you're really missing out on an amazing bite. In this video I pretty much fished from Caney creek to the highway 147 bridge.

I'd drive around and look for birds feeding on shad out deep. They always give away the school bass.

The next time you take a trip to Lake Sam Rayburn definitely give a spook style topwater a try. This is a great late summer bait.
