Black Taxi Tour in Belfast. Northern Ireland Visit

We had an eye-opening experience at Belfast about the still very much present effects of the history of the people of Northern Ireland.

We saw and signed the epic peace walls and learnt about 800 years of Irish and British history, first hand from our brilliant local tour guide who drove us through the back streets of Belfast in an old vintage London black taxi. According to our tour guide, the history of the people of Belfast are based mainly on the TWO T's (The Troubles and the Titanic).

We stopped by the republican(IRA) murals of the falls road and the protestant(UFF & UVF) murals of the Shankill road. These are different sides of the same story told by the people that experienced it, and they are all true.
