Abraham Mazumder is one of the most eminent European Classical musician/Conductor in India. He is also Associate and Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music, London. And, quite differently to the classical music, has also been one of the founding members of Mohiner Ghoraguli, the first ever Bengali rock band of India.

The composer and conductor Maestro Abraham Mazumder scored a symphony on Tagore’s songs which was premiered in November 2007 with a 78-member symphony orchestra at Science City Auditorium in Kolkata, India. This concert was organized & curated by Mr. Ranjon Ghoshal.

In April 2012, Maestro Mazumder has conducted the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and the Odeon Youth Symphony Orchestra in Germany to perform Tagore in Symphony.
