How rescue/ems unit callsigns work in Finland:
Example 1, ROK101: R (Rescue) OK (Department/Area) 10 (Station Number) 1 (Means of use, in this case Engine)
Ex 2, ROK133: R (Rescue) OK (Department/Area) 13 (Station Number) 3 (Means of use, in this case Water Tender)
Ex 3, ROK1062: R (Rescue) OK (Department/Area) 10 (Station Number) 6 (Means of use, in this case Aerial Platform) 2 (Serial Number/Secondary Unit/Spare Unit)
Ex 4, ROK30: R (Rescue) OK (Department/Area) 30 (Fire Commander)
Logic behind callsigns differ between commanding vehicles and engines/aerial platforms/water tenders etc.
EMS units don't usually have station number(s) in their callsigns, disregarding some area exeptions.
Ex 5, EPP126: E (EMS) PP (Health Care District) 1 (Area) 2 (Means of use, in this case ALS Ambulance) 6 (Serial Number)
Ex 6, EPP01: E (EMS) PP (Health Care District) 0 (Area, means all areas inside the HCD) 1 (Means of use, in this case Medical Supervisor)
