The VX-2000 was not working well and I couldn't rewind it many times, so I tried to improve it. I don't think it was possible to improve the videotape failure due to this because it was caused by deterioration due to heat inside the video deck. The heat from the reel operating solenoid of the tape mechanism viewed from the bottom of the VTR is radiated to the video head drum, causing the video head drum cylinder at the top to generate heat, which adversely affects the tape. It seems that the temperature of the solenoid is higher during use than the AC motor. I won't say it because it's a difficult question. The only way to achieve this is to make the springs shorter and stronger. Since the idler rubber ring is made of transparent silicone, it is not very clean, but after using the VX-2000, be sure to wipe off any dirt such as magnetic powder on the idler rubber with fresh water. Or, if it has not been used for a while, clean the idler and check it again for dirt from magnetic particles. Although it is very troublesome, this is the only way to increase the torque of the reel.

VX-2000はひどい故障で何度か巻き戻しが出来なくなるのでもっと良くしてみました。このような原因のビデオテープの不良はビデオデッキ内部の熱による劣化だったので改良点は考えていなかったと思います。それはビデオデッキの底から見たテープメカニズムのリール操作ソレノイドの熱でビデオヘッドドラムへ放熱され、アッパービデオヘッドドラムシリンダーが熱くなってテープには悪影響があります。ACモーターよりソレノイドの使用中温度が高いようです。これは難しい問題なので言いません。方法としては動画でご覧になったようにリール密着のバネを短く強めに調整するだけです。アイドラゴムリングは透明のシリコンだったのであまり良いものではありませんが、VX-2000を使い終わったら、必ず、アイドラゴムに真水で磁性粉末などの汚れを拭き取ります。又は暫く使っていなかった場合はもう一度アイドラの磁性粉の汚れなどを掃除や点検をしましょう。大変面倒ですが、この方法しか reel TORQUEは低下します。
