Miracle Hot Springs in Kern County was demolished by United States Forest Service, USDA, CalFire, and the Kern County Sheriff on Thursday October 20, 2022. They were vandalized and then completely destroyed following a man's death the week before. The public still does not know the cause of death, now 21 days after he died.
