5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe 'The Shakespeare Express' 20th August 2017

One warm morning at Stratford-Upon-Avon station awaiting for Great Western Railway Collett Castle Class 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe with 'The Shakespeare Express' doing 4 trips up and down the Stratford to Birmingham line. This video will be different than the usual chasing the tour to watch it go by but going on the Steam Railtour for the first time as a Birthday treat from my father who arranged this treat. So this video i have featured close up shots of 5043 and in the cab. Did a couple of footage travelling behind the locomotive and did one last shot of her at speed through Lapworth before heading home. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip and i will more mainline steam tour in the future.

- 5043 running round the train at Birmingham Snow Hill
- 5043 rocketing through Lapworth
