Hastings Point - Australia - Includes 4K Drone Footage

My day trip visit to Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast in Northern Rivers NSW Australia, inspired an emotional, visual story where the rich imagery and bitter-sweet music tracks develop from a sparkling seaside morning, through a tense build-up to a victorious midday crescendo which dissipates in release to a happy, breezy, sunlit afternoon. I recorded the footage during the clean-up and recovery period following the traumatic record-breaking Northern Rivers flood event which impacted with much force on souls who live in this region. The natural beauty evident in the footage is a reminder that ninety nine percent of the time we live in a veritable paradise. This gives us much hope for starting afresh for the future. For me, this visual story mirrors the emotional states experienced by many through the recent Northern Rivers flood saga.

As a holiday destination, Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast has a charm which differs from glitzy built-up high-rise locations. Get away from the crowds here and enjoy a contented time swimming, paddling, sunbathing or fishing.

Hastings Point is just 4kms south of Cabarita Beach, and 25 minutes' drive from the Gold Coast Airport in South East Queensland.
