We have had so many house projects since buying our home in San Miguel de Allende last year. Since we've dealt with most of the structural aspects, lately we've been focusing on the fun part; decorating!

Finding great furniture that looks good and is reasonably priced has been a challenge for us, but over the last couple of weeks we've had 5 pieces of custom furniture made from Sophia's Rustic Furniture in Galvanes, and we had such a great experience that we decided to make a video about it!

If the Google map location does not work for you, Sophia's Rustic Furniture is in Galvanes on the road to Delores Hidalgo about 20km from San Miguel de Allende. As you pass through Galvanes, you will pass under a pedestrian bridge and the road will veer to the left. Sophia's Rustic furniture will be on your left right next to the huge antique yard with the windmill out front.

PS. A couple of our friends had issues with the finish on furniture that they had ordered. When their furniture was delivered, they had to send it back to get it finished the way that they wanted. I recommend that you either exchange pictures during the finishing process or go to see your furniture pieces in person before you have final pieces delivered to your home. We have found that communication is key when working with custom projects!
