I'm a cam870 man. I’ve been unfaithful before with a PPS shotgun, and that left me feeling... dirty. But I am playing the field again, this time with the Dominator DM870 pump-action shotgun.

STEP 1: UNBOXING
Every part in the box is accounted for.

STEP 2: ASSEMBLY / SAFETY CHECK
I assemble the replica.
Then I make sure the replica is safe.

STEP 3: MATERIALS
What the replica is made of.

STEP 4: RECEIVER
There are holes pre-drilled in the receiver for accessories.

STEP 5: MARKINGS
The DM870 has a serial number and two toy gun markings.

STEP 6: REALISM
There are some odd design choices present, that makes this not a true replica.
For instance the ejection port, end cap and the barrel.

STEP 7: FUNCTION
Testing all the moving parts are working as intended.

STEP 8: SHELLS
Investigating the pros and cons of the DM870 shells, and how they function compared to the CAM870 shells.

STEP 9: INNER BARREL
Pros and cons of this design.

STEP 10: CONCLUSION
