how to start your push to start Equinox with a dead proximity key fob.

First: remove your emergency blade by pressing the button on the side of your remote and pull the emergency key out.

Second: insert the key into the bottom of the cylinder cover next to the door handle.

Third: pull the door handle while inserting the key fully and twist the key to release cover.

Fourth: insert key into cylinder and open the door.

Fifth: set your remote in the front cup holder and start vehicle as normal.

Sixth: purchase a new 2032 battery and replace your old battery
