In this episode of Fish Hunt Northwest, Duane steps into the driftboat with the ultra-talented multi-species guide Jared Cady. Jared fishes everything from coastal Chinook, Coho and Chum with twitching jigs, spinners, plugs and bait, to trophy winter Steelhead with gear and fly fishing techniques. Not only that, he's a fly-fishing guide in the Idaho and Montana region for Rainbows, Browns and Cutthroat.

On this particular day, Wicked Lures, an inline spinner that utilizes an additional weight to gain depth, was absolutely smashing the Coho (Silver Salmon). They chose the Grays Harbor region near the Chehalis River Basin and happened into some good schools of fish. By swinging these spinners low and slow, the blade just agitates the fish in a big way. Although a fish or two was lost, a lot of them were put in the net. Black and Green was a great color for the day.
