We've got running water! | Bringing utilities in on raw land // V1E13

Here we go again...digging trenches!

Now that the pole barn is done we need to bring in utilities. That includes water and electricity, propane will be added later. All utilities run underground which means we have to dig the trenches for all the pipe to lay in. This is all fine until you hit rock like we did. Thank goodness there was a solution to not meeting the required depth for these pipes, otherwise we would not have gotten this done in time.

We had to hire someone to install in our well pump, since we don't have the necessary tools to do it ourselves because our well is so deep. It takes a little extra to get the pump installed when you've got a well that is as deep as ours and we did not want to risk anything going wrong.
