Ibanez Artcore AS53 Hollow body Guitar in Tobacco Flat

The Ibanez AS53 Artcore Hollowbody electric guitar is aimed at the entry-level market point however the design and quality levels are just as good as some more expensive models and therefore the AS53 offers outstanding value for budding musicians everywhere. This is a double cut-away hollow bodied instrument with dual "f" sound-holes and two ACH-ST humbucking pick-ups and is finished in an attractive Tobacco Flat colour.

The AS53's body has been made from Sapele with a Mahogany in-set neck and bound Rosewood fretboard with inlaid dot fret markers. As previously mentioned the sound emanates from dual ACH-ST open-coil humbuckers that are managed by a single master volume and master tone control along with a 3-way toggle switch for pick-up selection.

Hardware is in Chrome and includes an ART-ST fully adjustable bridge and tailpiece along with Ibanez smooth action closed gear machine heads at the headstock. The body and neck are bound at the edges and the Ibanez AS53 Artcore model shown here is finished in a Tobacco Flat stain.
