Aviva Dautch, the British Museum’s poet-in-residence for Refugee Week 2021, meets actor Juliet Stevenson and award-winning poets Carolyn Forché, Mimi Khalvati, Nick Makoha and Suhrab Sirat to discuss the relationship between poetry and testimony and explore the importance of the arts in bearing witness.

The event includes readings by Aviva Dautch and Kaycee Hill created especially for Refugee Week 2021, inspired by the current British Museum exhibition Reflections: contemporary art of the Middle East
