গত ১৫ই সেপ্টেম্বর এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা শুরু হয়েছিল। করোনা পরিস্থিতি ও বন্যার কারণে দীর্ঘদিন আটকে থাকার
পর অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা। সাধারণত পরীক্ষা শেষ হওয়ার ৬০ দিনের মধ্যে ফল প্রকাশ করা হয়।
এ বছর নয়টি সাধারণ শিক্ষা বোর্ড, মাদ্রাসা ও কারিগরি শিক্ষা বোর্ড মিলিয়ে এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষায় মোট পরীক্ষার্থী ২০ লাখের
বেশি। ৩ হাজার ৭৯০টি কেন্দ্রে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। মোট পরীক্ষার্থীর মধ্যে শুধু সাধারণ শিক্ষা বোর্ডগুলোর অধীনে এসএসসি পরীক্ষার্থী
প্রায় ১৬ লাখ।
