How to Repair Blown Speaker Using Flex Seal | Fix Popping Sound

Описание к видео How to Repair Blown Speaker Using Flex Seal | Fix Popping Sound

How to fix a speaker that makes popping sounds. This repair should work for any speaker that has a rip in the rubber surround causing distortion and crackling sounds. I had some liquid rubber as seen on TV Flex Seal in the house and was blown away with the results, mainly how fast it worked. You have to watch the video to see why I was surprised in the end.
This how-to guide should help repairing rubber surrounds, paper cones, and even plastic surrounds and speaker cones. The repair fixed my Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System 100%

You can buy Flex Seal almost anywhere https://amzn.to/2wtssRd
I also mentioned CA Glue which is also popular with repairing car subwoofers https://amzn.to/2P8ShxE

This Flex Seal rubber repair may not work on very high powered speakers like car 1000 watt subwoofers, but I’m sure it will work fine on home theater, computer, and most car speakers.

I’m really curious what speakers you’re going to try the repair on, please post what you tried it on and if it worked. Don’t forget I used a hair dryer to speed up the drying process of the glue. The instructions said to wait 24 hours and apply another coat. In my situation I only applied the 1 coat as seen in the video.

I can’t believe that one of these infomercial AS SEEN ON TV products actually works as advertised!
