For over 35 years, Germany-based Aquatherm's energy efficient and environmentally friendly piping systems have been proven in applications around the globe. Now Aquatherm Greenpipe® (potable water), Climatherm (HVAC), and Lilac (reclaimed water) are gaining market share throughout North America.

A simple heat fusion welding process so reliable it's used in natural gas applications is at the core of the company's product line: Properly executed fusion welds can last a lifetime and two pieces becoming one virtually eradicates leaks while also eliminating the need for toxic materials and open flames from piping installations.

The fully recyclable polypropylene material used in the piping systems offers a natural insulation value of R-1 (and higher depending on pipe size and diameter) and excellent flow qualities -- translating into energy savings -- while the fusion process provides cost and labor savings.

Aquatherm's low material, installation, and nonexistent maintenance costs, combined with environmental friendliness and code approvals, position it as the piping system of the future.

In an ever-evolving market, contractors need competitive labor figures that they can rely on. That's why they rely on Aquatherm.

Aquatherm piping systems are quick and easy to assemble. With consistent heat times and minimal prep-work, fusiothern and climatherm have virtually no unforeseeable factors that can increase labor costs or cause delays.

Aquatherm pipes are much lighter than metal pipes of comparable size, meaning they take less man-power to move and assemble. They are also more resilient to impact than other rigid plastics, so accidental mishandling won't damage them. This allows from greater flexibility during installation and makes prefabrication easy and practical.

Fusion outlets also help speed and simplify installation, allowing the take-offs and branches to be installed after the main lines are secured. The actual fusion outlet connections also take a fraction of the time to install compared to a full reducing tee, and fusion outlet connections never weaken the pipe at the point of installation, providing addition peace of mind.

Aquatherm systems come in pipe dimensions ranging from 3/8" to 12" (equivalent) and provide an extremely attractive alternative to metal and plastic piping systems in potable, hot- and cold-water distribution, water service, chilled water, condensing water, and radiant heating applications, among others.

Aquatherm's polypropylene-random (PP-R) piping systems is increasingly being used in a variety of plumbing and HVAC applications. The Aquatherm piping system now feature a threadless PP-R to copper transition such as fixture units and flush valves. This transition allows for installations to be quickly fitted out entirely in polypropylene-random (PP-R) material. Aquatherm-to-copper stub-outs allow installers to quickly and easily transition through a wall to a fixture unit or flush valve . This new stub-out represents a more mainstream transition method for potable and greywater service. All Aquatherm systems are connected via heat fusion -- which creates monolithic connections that last a lifetime and eliminate toxic materials, glues and resins, and open flames from piping installations.

Features & Benefits:

Available in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" diameters
Made from the same material as Aquatherm Greenpipe® and Climatherm®
The PP-R portion of the stub-out is and is connected via heat fusion.
The copper portion of the stub-out is connected using standard copper solder joints or compression fittings.
