The Hey Song - how to play it on harmonica (take 2)

Описание к видео The Hey Song - how to play it on harmonica (take 2)

A lesson for harmonica players on "The Hey Song," a staple of high school and college marching band culture in the USA. With Adam Gussow of Modern Blues Harmonica. Also featuring the trumpet playing of Gussow's son Shaun, a ninth grader at Oxford HS in Oxford, Mississippi. Since the song is in the key of F, you'll need a B-flat harmonica to play along.

"The Hey Song" has an interesting and controversial history. It was first made famous as "Rock & Roll Part II," a recording by its co-composer, British glam rocker Gary Glitter, and became a staple at sporting events, first in the UK, then in Canada and the US.
