Acting as the second generation and modernised edition of the Ace silo, the 16+ Primeknit sees the unprecedented inclusion of a compression fit collar alongside a newly designed sole plate and stud configuration. The control-themed boot is aptly endorsed by world greats of the midfield position including Mesut Ozil, Ivan Rakitic, and Xabi Alonso.

Seeing the original Ace 15+ Primeknit gain rave reviews regarding its supple yet snug upper, the follow-up 16+ Primeknit stays true to its roots by continuing such a knitted upper albeit arguably slightly thicker.

adidas have decided to not hold back on their launch colour-way of the latest Ace collection by issuing the boot with a Solar Green base-coat with equally striking trim applications of Shock Pink and black to compose adidas’ iconic three-stripes.

Whilst a compression fit collar has been introduced upon the 16+ Primeknit, the new Ace opts to maintain an external heel-counter as seen on its predecessor for added protection and lock-down of the heel.

As seen on the professional stage by several of adidas’ headline representatives, the Total Control stud configuration proved an unfavourable feature and therefore the German brand have issued the Ace 16+ Primeknit a newly crafted lightweight and more traditional outsole.
