The Myers Family Engine Generating the super sonic skids at Welland Steam & country rally 2022.
Burrell Scenic no 3888 "Genereal Gough" built in 1921 Reg no NO2379. Supplied new to S & T Bolesworth Leytonstone for power a Gondola switchback ride, then was later owned by D W White Essex. It was Final bought by present owner Nigel Myers back in 1998 and was restored around 2007. Its mostly seen at rallys been steamed at shows by Andrew Myers, Nigels son.
The Super Sonic Skids were built in 1960 by Hawes Fabrication of warwick & supplied new to Harry Parish. Which they travelled until being sold to Chris Summers in the early 1980's. Rescued by Ralph Richardson after the ride was parked up for many years, who began restoration . Purchased by the current owner Colin Golder in 2011 who continued the restoration until it was final complete. Redecorated by Tate Decor to the exact design as painted originally by Fred Fowle.
