Merkur 34c: The SAFEST Double-Edge Safety Razor for All Skill Levels?

I've been tossing around the idea of creating a format for reviewing shave products, and figured I'd put this out there for those who are curious :)

Definitely a razor that will serve every shave den well, the Merkur 34C is a German double-edge 2 piece razor that is deceptively mild. Sporting a narrow blade gap with a healthy amount of blade exposure, with the right touch, it can provide excellent, smooth shaves for nearly any amount of hair you wish to remove. Today we take a look at how it works, what I keep it in, what blades I typically use in the razor, and a special technique that I use to give the Merkur 34c a more aggressive shave.
