At one point toward the beginning Dave mentions that this music reminds him of "show music" from the 50s and 60s and wasn't sure what he meant, so I asked him. He said the music seemed to him like a waltz that you would see Doris Day dancing to in the movies. I think he maybe meant Ginger Rogers, but you get the gist.
