MaxShine Dual Action Polishers are only compatible with backing plates that match the ones they come with.

MaxShine's M550 Rotary Polisher is compatible with 1"- 3" rotary backing plates. And the M1000 Rotary Polisher is compatible with 5"-7" backing plates, or 1"- 3" if utilizing the extension shaft set.
