Episode 3 of Season 1 - Ruth-Ellen, a soulful singer/songwriter, was born and raised in South London. She independently pursues her passion for soulful music, having grown up listening to soul, Gospel and Jazz. Ruth-Ellen fuses these traditional styles with more contemporary styles of Neo-Soul and R&B, naturally creating soulful lyrics, vibrant melodies and jazzy harmonies. These influences have developed into a distinctive sound, called ‘Soft Soul’.

‘New Day’ is the single from Ruth-Ellen’s forthcoming LP, ‘Transit’ celebrating a new era of self confidence. Approaching each day with a clearer and bolder perspective of who she is. Letting go of the former mistakes, just like having a second chance, everything is brand new.

Artist House Live is an online broadcaster, whose core focus is showcasing signed and unsigned talent within the UK Soul/R&B genre & scene.

In a response to the 2020 lockdown measures, we ( The NOART team) took it upon ourselves to play our part in keeping the creative industry going, by providing a unique platform for artists to perform their music live, within the comforts of their home. This initiative gathered momentum, and as such, we decided to continue with this concept beyond lockdown.
