Nice onion bottle from the Netherlands, most likely recovered from a shipwreck. Wines, liquor, vinegar etc. were contained in these bottles and were used in every day households and also on ships. The Netherlands were famous for these bottles and used them in their colonies, a historical example would be New York used to be New Amsterdam. It is amazing any of these bottles survive over 300 years.
