A Handmade Crib | KirkwoodWorking

My Sister is having a baby, and she wanted handmade a crib.

It is hard maple and black walnut. A solid walnut back for toy/pacifier corralling and walnut slats for a nice contrast. The legs are in a mid-century style and are a new direction for my furniture.

The entire piece is Scandinavian in design, also new for me. It is 100% solid wood and has a 3 position adjustable mattress support. Fully knock-down for storage and transport.

The finish is General Finished High Performance for durability, ease of application and longevity once the teeth start coming in...
