The people of remote Menyamya, Morobe, have thanked Prime Minister Hon. James Marape for major developments in their once-forgotten district, especially through the 'Connect PNG' Programme.

Menyamya MP Hon. Solen Loifa thanked PM Marape in front of thousands of people, from all over Menyamya who converged on Menyamya Station on Friday, March 31, 2023, to witness the Prime Minister launching their Five-Year Development Plan (2023-2027).

MP Loifa said these projects included Menyamya-Bulolo Road, Menyamya-Kaintiba (Gulf) Road, Menyamya-Marawaka (Eastern Highlands) and Menyamya-40-Mile (Morobe) Road.

He said these projects would link the Southern, Momase and Highlands regions with Menyamya at the crossroads. It will open up the economy of Menyamya and bring their coffee, vegetables, apples, honey and other agriculture produce to market.

MP Loifa said "keyboard warriors" who had nothing better to do than spread lies and deceit about the Government, should come to Menyamya and see for themselves the amazing transformation that was taking place, under the Marape Government.
