Animal Interactions: During his visit, PM Modi engaged closely with various animals, including feeding Asiatic lion cubs, white lion cubs, clouded leopard cubs, and caracal cubs. He also interacted with giraffes, rhinos, chimpanzees, orangutans, and even observed elephants enjoying hydrotherapy pools designed to alleviate arthritis and foot ailments.​

Advanced Veterinary Facilities: The Prime Minister toured Vantara's state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, which is equipped with MRI, CT scan, ICU, and surgical units. He witnessed procedures such as an MRI on an Asiatic lion and a life-saving surgery on a leopard injured in a road accident.​

Conservation Efforts: Vantara houses over 2,000 animals across 43 species, focusing on the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife. The center has successfully rescued more than 200 elephants and numerous other animals, reptiles, and birds from unsafe conditions .​
While Vantara is not yet open to the public, plans are underway to allow visitors in the future, aiming to educate them on wildlife conservation and the importance of animal welfare.​
