South Coast Downwinder

Описание к видео South Coast Downwinder

A forecast 25kn nor' easterly seabreeze had us licking our chops at the prospect of a downwind paddle from the idyllic south coast hamlet of South Durra, back to our cars at Batehaven inside Bateman's Bay.
With the observations recording gusts to 35kn, the seas were whipped into a steep, breaking wave train that provided a rollicking run south, once we'd battled our way east to line up the wind.
Modern sea kayaks have come a long way when you can get surfski-like performance downwind, but still have the capacity to carry a few weeks gear for a proper multi-day adventure.
We are really proud of the way the Audax, Azure and Aurora handle these conditions, and turn them into outright, outrageous fun.
