Seven-year-old Vanya was given a toy aeroplane as a present for his birthday - an ordinary present, nothing seemingly special. However, it was to quickly become a cause of conflict and strife between the main characters, and re-ignite old feuds and long-standing resentments
One evening Vanya disappears from the apartment. The door is locked. His outdoor clothes are still in place. There is only an open window... a symbol, perhaps, of open and yet unresolved issues...
What could have caused the boy’s disappearance? What secrets will be revealed during the search? Will it affect the relationships between the main characters?
