Green hair algae is very tough to remove. i tried phosphate rx, refugium, flucanozole, large water changes, feeding the fish every other day, much less light of about 2 hours a day, and nothing worked. hydrogen peroxide dosed at 1ml per 10 gallons of saltwater aquarium works. green hair algae just melts away. does not hurt fish or coral is used in the proper amount. wear gloves. This video is a review of what I did 3 weeks ago. My saltwater tank was riddled with green hair algae everywhere. It was on the glass, the walls, all over the rock, on the power heads, it was terrible and about 2-3" long everywhere.
