At least six people have been killed after torrential rain and strong winds swept through the Gaza Strip, flooding hundreds of tents and collapsing makeshift shelters used by families displaced by the war. Medics say five people died when homes collapsed near Gaza City’s coastline, while a one-year-old child died of extreme cold in a tent in central Gaza. Thousands of displaced residents are struggling to keep their shelters standing as floodwaters and high winds batter the already devastated enclave.
