In this travel vlog, continuing my year long road trip around India I am in Mahabaleshwar in the western ghats of Maharashtra! We spent 1 day here in this vibrant hill station to answer one question for you.. is one day enough? To start the day we drove to Arthur’s seat, a scenic viewpoint high in the mountains. Unfortunately being monsoon season we couldn’t see much except fog but we got some good chai along the way and had a go at the Echo Point on our way up. We then went to Kate’s Point where the views were incredible. From this point you can see views of the whole hill station including the waterfall, Krishna River and the whole Krishna Valley. Stopping for lunch at a local restaurant we tried the famous strawberry and cream and Makki Ke Pakode / Corn Pakoda. After this we hiked our way to the beautiful Lingmala waterfalls before heading on to the Vintage Miles bike museum. This museum contained so many vintage bikes including Honda, Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Vespa’s. Finally to end our day we took a peddle boat around Vienna Lake to the Hanuman temple. I had my favourite Indian street snack (so far) which is roasted corn / Indian Bhutta. This was an extremely beautiful and serene way to end the day.
