Troodon is a FRAUD (Why he's not the smartest dinosaur)

#Troodon Troodon. For a REALLY long time, books, tv shows, websites, and video games have portrayed the smartest dinosaur as being "Troodon," the small meat eating dinosaur that hunted in packs and had a brain the size of a golf ball. The only problem is, we've only found one Troodon before, and all that we found of it was a single tooth.

We dive into the study of Troodon, as well as the research of intelligence in general. Intelligence is a little more difficult to study than you might think. Adding to this video, the best way we have currently of studying intelligence is studying behavior, and it's tricky to study the behavior of dinosaurs. That, on top of everything else in this film, makes it extremely difficult to know which dinosaur was the smartest.
