The Powerful Prayer of Jabez is a brief but powerful prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10 in the Bible. It reads:

"Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request."

We see Jabez is seeking God's blessing and favor. He asks for an increase in his influence ("enlarge my territory"), divine guidance and support ("Let your hand be with me"), and protection from harm and pain ("keep me from harm"). This is an emphasis of a desire for growth, protection, and divine assistance in overcoming challenges. We face so many challenges in life but we we need not fear because God is with us and he will never leave nor forsake us.
