Dense phase conveying utilizes a relatively low velocity motive gas, relying on a high pressure differential to move your bulk materials. Low velocity results in a gentle transfer, with materials moving with less wear and impact.

How the dense phase pneumatic conveying process works: Dry bulk material is loaded into a pressurized transporter which pushes the material into pneumatic tubes. The material travels through the pneumatic tubes with help from Nol-Tec’s Air Assists that prevent the material from clumping (and clogging the tubes) along the way.

Dense phase conveying works with a broad range of products, from iron oxide to sawdust. Fragile materials like whey protein and durable materials like sawdust can travel easily through the pipeline without experiencing degradation.
