Join us for a lively Wednesday morning at the Malatapay Market in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental! The day starts with a rustic local breakfast overlooking the sea and fishing and tourist boats to Apo island, served at long communal tables where food is cooked over open fires.

Then we visit the unique shop of Bebeboy Aguirre and his wife, where they make lifelike replicas of local iguanas, traditional rice gods, intricately designed masks, beautiful shell jewellery, colourful necklaces and bracelets, fridge magnets and much more. Their creations range from affordable trinkets to striking statement pieces for every budget.

Finally, we end the day shopping for vegetables while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of happy people enjoying the market's offerings. A perfect blend of culture, artistry and community spirit!
