Dave shows you how he changed the timing belt and water pump on his L200 (K74).

My L200 has just surpassed 90,000 miles and I don't have any service history (I am not the first owner) so I decided to change some parts.

These included: Timing belt, balance belt, both tensioners, water pump, thermostat and the crankshaft pulley. The belt I took off had "Mitsubishi" marked on it so I suspect it was original. There were no signs of damage on the belts but there was some play in the tensioners (not much).

I read a lot of info on forums about the crankshaft pulley having a tendency to delaminate on this particular car. There were no signs of that on mine but I changed it anyway.
