Borderlands 2: Legendary Flakker- Does it suck!?

The Flakker is the legendary Torgue shotgun.

It is a very interesting weapon.

It fires differently than any other weapon, creating a field of explosions a certain distance from the player. This field of explosions is very dependent on the environment it is shot into, and how it was shot into that environment. Because of this, the weapon has an extremely steep learning curve, and is one of the most difficult weapons to use properly in the game.

When used properly though, it has great potential.

The weapon consumes four ammo per shot, usually giving an effective magazine size of three.

The casual version, or fore grip accessory Flakker, is far superior to other versions of the weapon. This is also true for other shotguns like the Slow Hand and Orphan Maker.

The Flakker has a terrible fire rate and a long reload time, but even when adding those to the weapon's learning curve doesn't make it suck. The Flakker definitely does not suck, despite its unique usage and certain compromises.
