After a fight with Gloria (Sally Struthers), Mike (Rob Reiner) needs another place to sleep and is forced to share the master bedroom with Archie (Carroll O'Connor).

From Season 7, Episode 23 'Mike and Gloria Split': Mike and Gloria have an argument after a Scrabble game about Mike always being right and that she never did get to go to college as Mike had promised. Mike also ends up with Archie as a roommate for one night.
