We spent a wonderful day with Emily & Richard in the grounds of Emily's family home. WOW what a place, and the perfect location to enjoy this relaxed, fun and stylish day. The beautiful family home is surrounded by fantastic gardens that had been tended by Emily's Dad in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. Trust us....we are talking a LOT of grass to be cut. Beyond the garden lays mile after mile of farmland and we knew straight away that if we were blessed with great evening light we would make use of the farmland to capture some portrait shots. To aid us in our quest, Emily's Dad took a chainsaw to the nearest fence to make an entrance for us to use. What a superstar!!!!
As you can see the light turned out to be amazing so we really did make the most of the surrounding area, and as we were there to capture the day in both photography and film format, we captured an abundance of beauty.
We must also mention the location for the wedding ceremony. This was nearby Worksop College, which is Emily's former School. The church is incredible, and although it may not be especially well known as a wedding venue, its well worth checking out if you are in the planning process. Thanks you Emily, Richard and all of your lovely family and friends.
